I am stuck since some time already with a mystery about my great grandmother Emilie Doiron, and maybe someone on this forum might have some clues to keep me going.

On my grand-parents marriage certificate (Raymond Robichaud - Delcia Robichaud m.1944, Tracadie, N.B.) of which I have a record, it is written that Delcia's parents are Emilie Doiron and Basile Robichaud. I can find infos on Basile without a problem, but Emilie's parents are nowhere to be found. I have a hint that they might be Alexandre Doiron and Theotiste Leclerc, who are listed in the 1901 census as having a child named Emilie, born around 1886. However, the church records lists only one child from them, born in 1885 (no kids appear from them after that before 1887), named Melina. So I am left with two questions:

- If Alexandre Doiron and Theotiste Leclerc are in fact Emilie's parents, are Melina and Emilie the same person?
- Is there anybody who might have information on the mariage of Basile Robichaud and Emilie Doiron, most possibly in Tracadie, N.B. before 1918, which would help in finding the parents?

The birth information for Delcia Robichaud's brother Alphonse list Basile Robichaud and Émelie Doiron as his parents.
The marriage information for her siblings, Delphine and Jean-Baptiste also list their parents as Basile Robichaud & Émelie Doiron. This can be found at the NB archives on-line.

The site Secondenation.com gives a
Emilie Doiron born 13 August 1885, died October 18, 1965.
No other details.
