Robertson Knight; attended school at Harrisonburg; worked as an apprentice on boats and after obtaining his license, he and his brother, George, entered the towing business with a steam tug and barge on the Ouachita, Boeuff, Black and Tensas
Rivers. Elijah married 22 April 1884 to Adella M. Holstein, b. 24 Nov 1863, daughter of James
Burrell and Laura
Evans Holstein, at Harrisonburg,
LA. He was later captain and master of Steamer Ouachita until 1901. He and his brother Captain George W. Knight ran the steamboat T. K. Green and moved to
Monroe,
LA, where he died 3 Feb 1902; Adella died at
Ferriday,
LA, 11 May 1954. She was Methodist. Elijah and Adella had 6 children.

Holstein Grover Knight, b. 27 Sept 1885; m 15 May 1915, Julia E. Falkenheimer; no known children. He was a steamboat pilot on all rivers in the south; d. Dec 1943 at
Ferriday,
LA. He was buried at the
Pine Hill Cemetery, Sicily Island,
LA.

Wilson abt. 1846/47 until he died in 1855. I have about 40 pages on the
Knights. I wish I had that much on my Wilsons.
