In this topographic map you'll see small red squares. These are sections. Each section contains 640 acres of land.
Looking at the map, you'll see Rock Lake on the right side. There is a dark dotted line across about the lower third of the map, that is the county line. You'll see in black the words "Hole in the Ground". Above that are three "Spring" in Green. In the middle of the red block where it says "Spring", one block up and one to the left, left click in that block with your cursor. Now slide the map over and left click again in the same block. You will now see this red block with four red "10". You'll see the word gravel pit in the center. This is Section 10 where the
Butts land was located. Now, divide this red block in half both vertically and horizontally. Now, put your attention to the bottom left of that divided block. That is the SW Corner. His 160 acres of land was in that area. There is nothing on the map to indicate a location of a cemetery; but that is where the land was located.
