Looking for Joseph Ashby and Abecca McGinnis who were married
in New York abt 1780. After they marr moved to Halifax Co., VA.
There they remained the rest of their lives. One son moved to KY, TN,
TN, and Coles Co., IL.

Ladyrom...we are related through Hannah E. Ashby..she was Dell's sister. She is my gggrandmother. She disappeared off the "radar" after she divorced my not so nice gggrandfather, Augustus Vint and remarried a man named James P. Craig. Any information on where she lived or died or anything would be appreciated!

Hi Rhonda; Yes, I recall rumors that he was not so nice. Kester Vint lived with Aunt Dell for a time (her nephew). I don't know if you have pictures of Dell, Amanda, Grace and John Ceborn (my ancestor) but I have acquired a few of late.
