Is there any information in the history of Whiteside Co. on early settlers, David Spencer and his wife Rachel (Shivery) Spencer, who are buried in Penrose Cemetery? Thank you.

I'm doing the Shivery's and saw the ref. to Rachael (Shivery)
Spenser. I have a Rachael Shivery b1801 d1886? Married:
16 Sept 1824 to David Spencer.
Are there any children?
OH! Her parents were:
Andrew Jr b (2 dates) 12 Sept 1760 or 6 Sept 1768
d (2 dates) 1843 or 12 Feb 1844
Sara Way b 20 Nov 1770

Have a bunch of siblings also if anyone is interested.

There is a David Spencer tree online at
http://awt.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=jenn22...
if you can get it.

I will send an e-mail and put you in touch with a descendant.

Thanks That would be very helpful. I've already found a few
new things from where you pointed.

Also try Wills of Centre Co., PA. after typing in Rachel Shivery on Ancestry. When you go to the 2nd page, I think it is listed near the bottom.
