Martha, thank you so much for your response. I neglected to mention previously that Elizabeth's husband, John Conrad Graf, died 01/15/1907 at Medford, Wisconsin. It is believed that Elizabeth moved to Minnesota to be with relatives after his death. She is listed in the St. Louis County MN death index - certificate # 658 (http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mnstloui/192549g3.htm). I was hoping that someone could look up the obituary for me on their next trip to the library. Thank you.

I hope to go the History Center next week. I'll make a note to look for an obit.

The number listed by Rootsweb is not the State certificate number. It's more of a registration number or something. Her certificate number is 1927-MN-025691 from the MN Historical Site mnhs.org. Ill check for an obit and look at the death cert when I go.

Hi, sorry I haven't gotten back to you. I havent been through all of my notes yet.

The obit I found was very short.
Sat Jul 9, 1927, Duluth Herald. Mrs Elizabeth Graf of Medford WI died at the home of her daughter Mrs Bertha Vollman, 2121 Piedmont Ave, last night. Mrs Graf made her home in Duluth for the last 7 months.

I don't know if a WI paper would have a more detailed obit.
