Nancy died 3 Feb 2006. She lived in Hudson, FL (Pasco Co). Thank you for any help.

Gates, Nancy, S., 75, of Hudson, died Friday (Feb. 3, 2006) at Community Hospital of New Port Richey. Born in Pittsburgh, she came here in 1996 from Rhode Island. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Robert; two sons, Bruce, Austin, Texas, and Alan, Boca Raton; and a grandson. Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Homes, Hudson.

I am looking for a Nancy S. Kelly that married Wilton Smith Gates.

I have down that she was born abt 1930. Married Wilton Smith Gates Aug 1956, divorced him April 1960.

That is it. I am trying to find out what happened to her and her children after the divorce. Wilton Smith Gates was my grandfather (by another wife). I would appreciate any direction on this. I don't mind doing some leg work, if I know which way to go. Thanks:)

I would start with getting a copy of that divorce record, hopefully it would mention her children. Then I would search for her, through her children. With the divorce being in 1960, she more than likely remarried. In Florida, Miami-Dade County looks like where the divorce was filed. With you having the date of divorce, Florida will search all counties.

Thanks for the direction. They did marry and divorce in Miami Dade county. I forgot to mention that:) I will order the divorce record to see what I can find. Do the divorce records usually have the kids on them? I wasn't sure...
