Would someone give me the info on:

Robert Eldredge New York county WWI draft card - I'm trying to find out if he was married and what the wife's name was.

Thanks

He is most likely not Ruth's husband.

Card shows wife as Cora.

Are you looking for a Robert just because of Robert's name or have you found some definitive information?

==================================
Since Robert Jr. appears in the 1920 census as having been born in Mass. around May-June 1916, I would suspect that the mystery Eldridge was still in Mass. for the draft registration, if still alive.

Searching for any Eldridge in Middlesex and Suffolk Counties turned up nothing.

Thank you for the info.

Yes I was looking for a 'Robert' just because of son's name but I suppose when he was adopted they could've changed the first name also.
I never found a Roper/Eldridge marriage in the Mass Archives online index - I think I'll have to make a trip over there to look in their books. For the help you've given is there anything you need/want from Mass Archives?

Thanks
Margaret
