I am looking for an obituary for Edwin R Wachter born May 12, 1904 and died October 19, 1971 in Napa.

Also looking for his sister:
Leona Maria Wachter Jobe
Born on Jan 28, 1906
Married Walter Jobe in 1927
Died January 9, 1927 in Napa.

Edwin R. Wachter

Edwin Rudolph Wachter, 67, of 359 South Hartson St., died Tuesday from injuries received while demonstrating farm equipment at the Norman Blachard Ranch on Pope Valley Road.

He was a native of Hader, Neb., and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the St. John's Mens Club.

Mr. Wachter is survived by his wife, Esther B. Wachter, Napa; two daughters, Mrs. Rober (Vernice G.) Miller and Mrs. Eldona E. Dragon, both of Napa; and two sisters, Mrs. Irene Jobe, Eldred, Minn. and Mrs. Walter Jobe, Napa. Also surviving are four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday 1:30 p.m. at the Treadway & Wigger Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Otto Rohrer officiating. Interment will be in Tulocay Cemetery.

they were married in Alexandria, Minn. 12 May 1926.

Leona Marie Jobe

Leona Marie Jobe, 79, died Sunday at her home after a long illness.

Mrs. Jobe was born in Alexandria, Minn., Jan. 28, 1906, and received her early education in Minnesota.

She came to California and Napa in 1948. She and her husband had owned Jobe's Auto Repair Shop in Napa for over 40 years.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She was an expert in embroidering and crocheting.

She is survived by her husband, Walter of Napa; her son, Harlan of Napa; her daughter, Marlys Clark of Fremont; eight grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.

Friends are invited to attend funeral services at St. John's Lutheran Church, 2521 Linda Vista Ave., on Wednesday at 1 p.m. with Rev. James Zielke officiating. Burial will be in Napa Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at Napa Valley Memorial Gardens Mortuary, 2383 Napa-Vallejo Highway, until 8 p.m. tonight.

Contributions to the St. John's Lutheran Church Student Aid Fund are suggested.

Esther B. Wachter

Vallejo - Esther B. Wachter, 78, died Friday at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Vallejo following a brief illness.

She was born, raised and educated in Crookston, Minn. and married Edwin R. Wachter in Alexandria, Minn. May 12, 1926. He died in 1971.

Mrs. Wachter moved to Napa in 1948 and did child care for ten years. She also enjoyed knitting, gardening, playing cards ad senior citizen activities.

She is survived by two daughters, Vernice G. Miller and Eldona Brumbach, both of Napa; a brother, Arnold Radke of Indiana; three sisters, Leona Radke of San Diego, Stella Steinhorst of Minnesota and Gladys Raley of Chula Vista; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Harold Radke.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral today at 5 in the chapel of Richard Pierce Funeral Srvice, 1660 Silverado Trail, Napa, with the Rev. John Mortensen officiating. Interment will be in Tulocay Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial contributions to a charity of the donor's choice.

Eldona Brumback

Eldona Edna Bumback, to, died Sunday at her Napa home following a long illness.

A native of Minnesota, Mrs. Brumback was born on Nov. 24, 1928, to Edwin and Esther Wachter. She received her early education in Minnesota and came to Napa in 1948.

She had worked to Title Insurance and Trust Company of Napa and for the past 13 years was the office manager for Upper Valley Disposal Services.

Mrs. Brumback enjoyed sewing and traveling, and was a member of the Napa Bowling League 600 Club.

She is survived by her husband, Harold of Napa; one daughter, Karen Hromadko of Livermore; one brothre, Alan Montellier of Napa; one sister, Vernice Miller of Napa; a stepson, Steve Brumback of Kelseyville; a stepdaughter, Carol Davis of Newcastle; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three stepgrandchildren; and one great-stepgrandchild.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral service at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Napa Valley Memorial Gardens Mortuary, 2383 Napa-Vallejo Highway, with the Rev. Frank Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Napa Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the First Presbyterian Church of Napa, 1333 Third St., are suggested.

I can probably help a little with this. My grandmother was Leona's sister, Irene Wachter/Jobe (she also married a Jobe man). My eldest aunt (Irene's eldest daughter is still alive and she might know).
My question is what is all about? I would also like to know some of the geneology on these two families.
