He parents were Tom Faidley and Ida Grubb.
Daugther was Bess.
Tom's Parents where Zebby Faidley and
Madaline Hines. I don't know how accurate
this information is. I have found noting
on any of the names

I'm working on the Bristol, VA Faidleys. My great grandmother's sister married into the family--she's that one that went by Magdeline, I think. Ed Faidley married Alverta Margaret Hines; she's listed as Margaret E in 1880. She either died and he married again, or Margaret "fancied" up her name. They are seen on the 1880 Wash. Co., VA census. I'm just now starting on this. And, I'm positive it is your line. You will find your Zebby was Edward Ballard Faidley; buried in Wash. Co.--you can check "High on a Windy Hill" or a similar list--I don't have it with me right now. Kathryn Greever

I am interested in the Bristol, VA/TN Faidleys. Edward Faidley married my g-grandmother's sister in 1868. They are on the 1880 Wash. Co., VA census, Goodson Twp. with six children. Would appreciate any info you can provide. Thanks.

Im not evens sure if this is being checked on anymore, but I can probably give you a bit of information concerning the Faidley's in Bristol VA and Bristol TN. Im married to Lawrence Faidley the 3rd.
