Would love to hear from anyone who has information on the above surnames of the Turks Island.
I'm told I would be a 'belonger' should I ever get to travel to the island of my ancestors. I'm a 4th generation of Ethelbert & Ophelia (ADAMS) SPENCER.
John Ney SPENCER was the last family I know of to have lived and died there. He having three children by his wife and a number of children by his partner.
Can anyone tell me how I would get birth/baptism/marriage/death/burial records for the Turks Island?

You can request the birth certificates, it would be helpful if you could confirm the dates of birth.

The Registry of Birth is located in Grand Turk as well as supporting office in Providenciales.

The fee is around $40.00

Hi you just have to apply to the records office in Grand Turk. The fees is $40.00 per document.

Right now the fees has been lowered for birth certificated to $20 until July 1st, 2012.
