Recieved a copy of their marriage found in Camden, NJ. They were married in 1895, not 1896, as previously noted in all family records.

Clara's sister, Sarah a/k/a Sevilla (Mrs. David WILLIAMS), was the witness. I found the William's living in Phila. in 1880-1910.

John, again, lists his parents as GEORGE W. BLAKESLEE and ALICE WATSON. Another 12 years of research may find his parents. Every document I have lists his parents as the above, so I'm still on the search for the parents.

Maybe you can help me- I'm trying to help my Aunt find family info. Her maden name is Blakeslee. Thinks her family came from Iowa to washington St. by covered wagon. Her father born 1902 is Raymond Oscar Blakeslee, brothers Roy C. & Claude. Sisters Elva, Clara, Velma & Dorothy. Their parents Oscar Adellbert Blakeslee & Christina Castle.

I have two Oscar Blakeslees in a family from Neilsville, Clark Co., WI. The first was b. 01 Dec 1864, m.Mayme. The other was his nephew b.30 Mar 1897. The first Oscar had a brother Frank b. 22 Aug 1862 who moved to Washington state. Perhaps he had a son Oscar, which was a popular name in the family.
