Noble County once and probably still does have a congragation of the Church of the Brethren.(COB) You might try subscribing to the BRETHERN-L-request@rootsweb.com list. There is a good possibility your surnames could be listed as the COB and Methodist Church met in the same meeting house for quite some time. My g-gfather Joseph WEAVER and spouse Lucinda BRADFORD WEAVER are said to be buried at Wolf Lake.

I'm researching the descendants of Joseph Raver Hile and Harriet Tucker Bowen Hile in Noble County, IN. Their children included Jeremiah Bowen Hile (1835-1912), Susan Bowen Hile (1839-1925) who married Reuben Huff, Isaiah Bacon Hile, Joseph Raver Hile Jr (1843-1871) who married Elizabeth Jerraid, Jacob Kramer Hile (1844-1905) who married Amanda Jerraid, Anna Elizabeth Hile (1846-1908) who married Walter Lewis, Martin V Hile (1846-1856), Hiram Hile, William Bowen Hile (1850-1926) who married Alice Lewis, Oliver McWilliams Hile, Lucius Henry Cary Fitch Hile (1854-1918) who married Marth McCloughan or McClougham, Julian H Hile, and Abijah Malington Hile (1858-1929) who married Hattie Lewis.

I'm also researching the children of Ezekiel Fulmer Hile. His son Emanuel Fulmer Hile (b 1869) married Anna Edsall. His son Joseph Peter Hile (b 1864) married Mina Edsall.

I'm also researching the family of Ralph Paul Wright (1890-1967) who was a farmer in Wolf Lake, Noble County, IN, and who married Gola May Hile, a daughter of Lucius Henry Carey Fitch Hile.

I would like to exchange info with other researchers.

I am really no relation to the Hiles but had fun doing some research on the family four years ago after having the pleasure of meeting and visiting with Esther Miller, who was a daughter of Gola May Hile and Ralph Paul Wright. Gola was a daughter of Lucius Henry Carey Fitch Hile and Martha J. McCloughan. Lucius was a son of Joseph Raver Hile and Harriet Tucker Bowen. Esther Miller is the widow of a second cousin of mine. She is a delightful lady, age 90 now.

My main genealogy research is the Thurtell family worldwide including all branches and descendants. Esther's late husband's mother and my father were first cousins, but our families had completely lost contact until I started using the internet a little over five years ago.

Gola was first cousin to Ruie Malangton Hile, who I'm guessing was your grandmother. I have names of Ruie's children from an old familytreemaker World Family Tree but no information. Who were your parents?

My GreatGreatGrandfather was Ezekiel GreatGrandfather was Thurlo and Grandfather was Harold Hile. I would be happy to share info.

My Mother's name was Dorotha Dull my research found her Mother Francis or Fannie Jerraid born 1872 . My grandmother had the following sibblings all born in Noble IN to William E Jarraid and Mary Catherine Hile. Mary Catherine's parents were Joseph Raver Hile and Harriet T.Bowman,which I guess makes them my great-great grandparents.
I have wondered all my life (I'm 58) if I had any relatives from my Mothers family. I never had any cousins( that I knew about) on either side of my family.
