My ancestors came from the Mikulov district the village name is PERNA can anyone tell me the postcode for the village and if there is still a kath. church there.

Hello, The town of Perná is rather small but close (maybe 10 or 12 km. from the town of Mikulov situated on the highway 414 or 52 Brno/Wien. I ignore the postcode of Perná but the zipcode of Mikulov na Moravé is 692 14. Mikulov is an historiacl town and the most famous church is Ste. Anne, probably the parrish. Mikulov is also the diocese where you can find information about Perná. The bischop is living in Brno and his E.mail is .

Our family also has schuster. anna tomcalova from Jan and Rosina married Carl Schuster (passed away). They live in Brezi near Mikulov.
