Would like any help in locating my TESKE relatives that lived in West Prussia. My great-grandfather, Gustav Teske, left the small village of Nakle, just north of Posen in 1892.

Joan....there are an abundance of Teskes in Neuenburg, WP...a little North of Nakel.....LDS has Evangelische parish records from 1773..1944.

looking for my great grandfather Paul Teske born 1-22-1840 inWest Prussia came to the Wisconsin 1855 to 1870?. wonder if theres any connection? let me know if you have anything, thanks, Dick Teska

Great-great grandfather, William Teske who married Aprilla Gustav.
His son, my ggrandfather, Gustav Teske b. May 23, 1842 married Karoline Koenig.
Looking for the siblings of Gustav.

I am looking for a Teske connection. I have a Emilie Teske married to a Wilhelm Equitz in Germany. Coming to the United States in 1880 with their son August Equitz. Would like any help. Emilie's birth is about 1857.

My maternal grandmother 's maiden name was Josephine Teska. Born3/4/1856 in Bohemia/Austria. Father's name Thomas Teska, mother - unknown. Married Joseph Ziska. He was from Pesek or Pisek. They arrived in the United States in 1890. Lived in Chicago a few years, then moved to Adams County, Wisconsin. She died 4/18/1925
Any connection? Would appreciate any information.

hi Lori, my grandfather Paul Teske came from Prussia about 1870 to Winona Mn. then acrosse the river to Wisconsin where he farmed and raised a family of 11 children my grandfather Paul Teske Jr. was one of them, he changed the spelling to Teska! So i don't know if there is any connection to your family, i do kmow that there was many spelling's of the teska name, Teske, Teska Teskey and Tesky. let me know if you have anything more. thanks Dick Teska

Hi .. I have relatives that are from rochester, Minnesota. My great grandfather's name was Julius Teske. I am told he was from the posen are of Germany at that time. He had several children, my grandfather's name was Henry Teske. I noticed you mentioned Posen. Do you have any other info. about this ?
