Looking for any infomation on DeForest (DeForrest) from Canada to Maine and New Hampshire 1800's.
Have a Napoleon born between 1860-1865 in Waterville, Canada or possibly in Maine. Also found two named
Charles. One may be a brother, the other may be the father of one or both of these men. All were living in
New Hampshire when they died in the early 1900's. Any info that can link these men together or to which line
of DeForest they come from would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Georges Forest married to Yvonne Lefebvre in Manchester, NH but I have no date. They had at least 3 children: Georgette born in 1922; Philippe born in 1920 and Roland born in 1921.

I have also a Georges Forest married to Rita Proulx in Manchester, NH no date who had at least one child: Roland.

Thank you for your reply. I'm not sure that the names you have are from the same family
as the ones I've been looking for. The information I have at this point, indicates the family always
had the "De" in the spelling of their last name. Which is not to say that there isn't some connection between
the names you have and the ones I'm researching. But at this point I'm unable to connect them to any
of the DeForests and/or Forests lines that I have been able to find info about.
I do have a George DeForest in the line I'm tracing, but he's not the same as yours. He was born in NH in 1899.
He was married in MA, and lived there until his death.
I have a few other DeForests from the area that I haven't been able to connect to the family either. But, my search
continues.

I am looking for information on Susan De Forest who married William Cargill in New Hampshire. They had several children, one being Luella de Forest Cargill, who married Horace G. Fabyan, also in New Hampshire.
