My Great Grandfather William Bernard Wicke was aboard the SS Oregon (Texaco) when it was shelled and sunk on 28 Feb 1942. He and 5 other crew members we later shot by Germans while either on a life boat or in the Caribbean Sea.

I am searching for anyone that may have been on this ship or has any information regarding this subject.

Thank you in advance.

Warmly,
Kasey
