Well, finding this post really knocked me for a loop! I thought I had figured out the line for my wife but looks like I may be wrong. My wifes grandmother (and whom she was named for) was Marjorie "Whitman" Knopf. Marjorie married Arnold Knopf of Flint and they had a son, Robert Knopf. Robert is my wifes father. Robert married Geraldine Knoll and they had 4 children, Laura, Marjorie (my wife), Jimmy and Robert (Jimmy and Bobby died in a house fire when still pre-school) I will continue to research to try to confirm that this Marjorie Knopf is the one in my wifes line however, we know her maiden name was Whitman and I find it difficult to believe that two many Marjorie Whitman's married Knopf's at this time frame. Any additional info would be appreciated.
