Hi - I am hoping to locate a death cert or obit for my GGGrandfather William Cooke. I know he was living with his daughter Emily Bond (incorrectly transcribed as Bona) in 1930 in Stroudsburg. As he is 82 at that time, I'm figuring that he probably died some time between 1930 and 1940. I'm hoping to at least get a date of death.

If anyone has any info on him I would really appreciate it.

I found an obit on his granddaughter, Helen Avery. Might be worth contacting the same cemetery to see if he's buried there too.

Thanks SO much. Funny - I have been in contact with someone in England who had connections to ancestors of Charles Bond. She wondered what happened to Helen. Now I can let her know! And the daughter, Kathy Avery lives about an hour from me! And I will contact Laurelwood Cemetery.

Thanks again!!

Thanks again. i was able to contact one of the daughters listed in the obit.
While she didn't know where William is buried, we did have a nice conversation and perhaps will be able to get together sometime. And I have information on the family that she didn't have.

So thanks again.

All right! I love it when we connect to living relatives we hadn't known about. Good luck!
