The 1900 census has Thomas Werkheiser and wife Rheumma in Stroudsburg. Her father, Thomas Harper, is living with them.

Werkheiser children in the household are Lucella b. 1864, Hiram b. 1878, Claud b. 1883, Allenton b. 1886, Amzo b. 1889, and grandsons Clarence and Milo Phillips.

1910, residence 427 Main St, Stroudsburg, Rheumma Werkheiser and widowed daughter, Cecelia Phillips, and Amzi make up this household.

1920 has just Mrs. Thomas Werkheiser age 72 and Cecelia Phillips age 55.

Rheumma is a daughter of Thomas Harper and Barbara Schaeffer. Barbara is a daughter of William Schaeffer and Margaret Beck of Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. William died there and Margaret went to Steuben County, Indiana, where several of her children lived.

Would like death and burial information on Thomas Harper, Barbara, and Rheumma Harper Werkheiser.

We will share all Beck and Schaeffer / Shaffer / Sheaffer information.
