Greetings!

I am trying to help my husband confirm his family lineage. We have clear lines back to Jules Benoit, who is also listed as Gilles and Gil and who married Elizabeth Lee as a second wife.

We have some indication that he was a son of Louis Benoit and Ursula Marche and a grandson of Francoise Benoit and Anne L'Official, but no concrete proof. (no baptisms, census or marriage certificates that list his parents)

Can anyone help us please?

Jules Sr b. abt 1835 is the 7th generation of Martin 1643. (dit Labriere Branch)

1st wife Marie Agnes Jesso, 2 children,
2nd wife Elizabeth Lee appox 13 children.


Parents Louis Sr., and Ursule Marche 6th of 16 children, grandparents Francois Sr and Anne L'offficial with 14 children. Lots of leafs and branches to work on!!!
