John and son-in-law, Cyrus Peck, were teachers according to the 1900 census. Anyone know of schools, Indian or white or mixed where they could have taught? Or maybe where some of their records are?

John and Cyrus may have had to have teaching certificates but OHS has no record of certificates. Any ideas on that?

Anyone else researching this familiy? They were white, not Indian.

Thanks,
K. Wood

Check the Daughters of the American Revolution records. I stumbled across this couple listed as descended from a patriot. Good luck!
