I, too descend from William Ilsley and Barbara Stevens of Newbury, MA. What is your source for John b. 1500 as father of William b. c1545? Do you have additional information on John and his stated father, John b. 1500? Were they also from Compton, Berkshire, ENG?

The ancestry information was found in "links" within Ancestry.com, which is why I want to verify them. An additional good Ilsley family link is at "possibilogy.com" which has decendants up to William & Barbara. I continue to look, as time allows, to find additional information sites.
