My father born in 1909? was in an orphanage in Manston Kent. Does anyone have information about this orphanage and if records exist.

There was the Manston Cottage Homes, opened in 1901:

Hello Cyril, My husbands father was in the Manston Orphanage. He has since died, but as I'm now a member of Ancestry.com I've been looking into it. I hope to come back to your shortly with infor, especially as I live in the town next to it.

My father was Cyril. He was in Manstan. He has now died but the family are tryiong to find out any info on him. Cannot find a birth certificate or anything He was born in 1909
