I am looking for any Marquez Bocanegra family names. My father,age 62, was Bocanegra, Marquez is his mother's last name. He was born in Queretaro, where exactly I am not sure, but he died in Texas, if you have any information I would greatly appreciate it.

My 3Greatgrandfather Manuel Marichalar married Bocanegra. I believe her name was Enemencial and I believe they were from the Brownsville, Texas(Cameron County) area. Manuel was born abt mid 1830s, so Enemencial was around that time period. They had at least one child, Francisco about 1859. That is all I have.

My late Greatgrandfather was from Spain but married to a Filipina late 18th century. His son Fabian Bocanegra was my late grandfather and his daughter Norma Bocanegra is my mother.
We're born and raised here in the Philippines. We have some ideas about Bocanegra's ancestral but i want to know more.In fact we have a copy of a family three which came from Spain.
