Do you know if your Hannosh family was originally from Tel Kaif?
My grandmother Amena Hannosh (sometimes spelled Hannos)
was born in Tel Kaif in the late 1880s. Her siblings were: Maryam,
Jajjo (not sure about the spelling), and Babbali. Do you see any
connections? There are also quite a few Hannosh gravestones
in the cemetery in Southfield, Michigan

This came across me four years too late so I don't know if I'll get a reply. I am tryingto put together some geneology for my children. Their father is Talal Hannosh, from Bagdhad. He came to Mi. in about 1985. His fathers name was Yacoub Haba Hannosh. He recently had a cousin Basim or Kamal Hannosh who recetly passed of cancer. I know he was from Tel Kief.
