From what I have been told, my family came from Kiev.

Libby Leasak, wife of Benjamin Skolnick (unknown whether he came; originally Schkolnik, I believe), came to America in 1926(?) with children Morris b.1913 and Anna b.1908. I am the grandson of Morris, son of Robert. Anna married Max Epstein. Samuel Skolnick b.1926 was born in America.

I wish I hadmore info on the Sokoloff line. I have names listed on my website at familytreemaker.com Type in search for Sokoloff and my stuff will come up. I think the info I had was in the posting (more of a historical text than names). If not, I can resend. Thanks!

Surnames: Schkolnick, Kandelman
I think I may have a connection to Schkolnik family. My grandfather was Jacob Kandelman (first cousin to Benjamin Schkolnick, spelling taken from ships log). Jacob's first wife, Sarah Ester was his first cousin and their daughter was
Anne. After Sarah Ester passed away in 1916 Jacob remarried to my grandmother Rose Green.
I have a Ben and Liba with children Chaim, Morris, Jacob and Helen on my tree. I think that Helen's married name is Langer. Does any of this match your tree? If so would be very anxious to hear from you or anyone with a connection
