I have a Maria Louisa Davis b1827, d 1899 in my line. She marrie George W Harrison in Cincinatti in 1845. Her parents were Darius Davis and Mary Lantis. I've not been able to trace this line back any further or either the Davis or Harrison side.

I think there may be some mistakes in the dates so you will want to check out the accuracy of this information. According to census records Darius Davis was born 1832 so his daughter Maria could not have been born in 1827.
An online family tree at ancestry.com shows the following:

There seems to be several results for Darius Davis with a wife named Mary and the birth years are confusing. Another online tree shows:

married Mary Lantis on 20 June 1839 in Preble Co., OH
Died 1892 in Indiana. Mary Lantis died 1906 in Shelbyville, IN

I hope you can sort this out.

After further research, I think two family trees are getting mixed togehter. I don't think the Mary Jane Morris listed as a 2nd marriage belongs because the Darius Davis who married her, doesn't have the same children's names as Darius & Mary Lantis Davis -- not to mention they are a generation later than Darius & Mary Lantis Davis.

I'll try to research the dates and families lines more when I get some time. Here's what I know, or think I know, about my family line. As mentioned, Maria marries George W Harrison in Cincinatti in 1845 and they had 12 children. My GG Grandmother was Hannah M Harrison b around 1849. Shortly after Hannah's birth the family moved across the river to York Ridge, Dearborn County, Indiana. Later George and Maria moved to Flora, Clay County, Illinois and are both buried there. Hannah married Joseph Grigg in 1872 from Sharonville, Ohio. Their daughter Carrie is my G Grandmother. My research seems to point to Darius Davis and Mary Lantis being Maria's Parents, but I also have seen conflicting dates, so have never put dates down for there births.
