Elizabeth Broeker is listed in the Cinncinati city directoy for 1891. Her address is 63 Dudly st. and she is the widow of Gerhard.
I am seeking some info about she and Gerhard, as marriage records, death and anything to help uncover their past.
I suspect Gerhard is the brother of John Martin Broeker, of Washington, Mo. I have all the info on john martin Broeker and his family tree back to the 1600's, have lost Gerhard
after he emigrated May 30, 18854 Baltimore. He and 2 other Broekers and 2 Budde girls all went to Cinncinati.

Now I wander how Gerhard died and when, why Lizzie was living in Cinncinati in 1891 on Dudly st. Are the early death records accessible by computer?

When I looked at the Cincinnati Census records there was Lizzie married to a Bernard.

Guess I would be looking in Mercer County is that is where he last appeared.

Yes that is true, but I copied the city directory for 1891 and Elizabeth is the widow of Gerhard Broeker.So that is the angle I am researching. Now to find the marriage records and death.

You probably ought to check in Prussia for the marriage record since the Census showed all the children were born in Prussia.

MY Gerhard was not married when he emigrated. Also fellow Broeker 's Franz and Henry emigrated with him. Also the Budde girls Mary and Anna.
And we know census takers were not always meticulos with the info they wrote.
