wayne, I don't know if we are related or not. The Information on theMessick family I got is: My Great-grandparents names are Philip and Lillian Messick. they had 3 kids,Philip, Nancy, and Martha(my Grandmother). They lived in Salsbury, MD intil 1925. That is when they moved to Penns Grove, NJ.Philp Messick(great-grandfather) was a conductor on a passanger train. Philip(GG)died in a car accident outside deepwater,NJ.

I am also at a loss trying to find the connection of my gr.grandmother Mary Elizabeth Messick from Maryland. She was born abt.1880 to 1885. dont know her father or mothers name, all I know is she was in baltimore in 1897 to 1905.(had 7 children there) She settled in Louisiana after that.
if anyone has any information about her I would appreciate it very much.

Hi, I have been spending a lot of time trying to find missing Messick relatives. We just visited with Jean Messick in Bivalve who I gather you're related to. I'd love to know who that cousin is who has been doing the research on the Messick family or anybody else who could help me sort things out.

My GGF is John Thomas Messick b in DE, died in NJ. His father is Samuel Messick, died 1854 in DE. Birth unk, guessing 1780 and could have been MD. Wife Mary Ann from MD, mother of John Thomas

1880 Mary R Messick born 1868 is living with John R Wilson (1859)and his mother Elizabeth L Wilson (1827) his sister Xenophene (1861). Mary Messick was daughter of Thomas Messick and Media Wilson, she was widow of a Seabrease.
Thomas and Media Messick also had a daughter Phenie (Xenophene?)
Thomas and Media were said to be both born in Salisbury Maryland on Mary R's death certificate
