Andrew J. BLACKBIRD wrote a History of the
Ottawa and
Chippewa Indians (I think that is the title) in which he mentions his family. It goes something like this:

Blackbird, Sr., b. c.1763 = ____ SHAWBENEE
4. Andrew/Amable J. BLACKBIRD, b. c.1818 (had four other known siblings), d. 7 Sept 1908, aka Pe-Ness-Wi-Qua=Elizabeth Martha FISH, b. c.1830/40
