Can anyone give me directions to the Corbin Cemetery on the Jennings/Ripley county line. We looked for it over this last weekend but could not find it. Can you see from the road or do you need to walk to it?

The Indiana Genealogical Society has several excellent CDs with information about Indiana cemeteries. Volume 3 gives the directions to Corbin Cemetery as:

"CORBIN; LEATHERWOOD S19 T8N R10E
The private cemetery is south of the curve from R885E/Turnip Ridge Rd. to CR1000N. It is near LEATHERWOOD Creek and the Ripley County line. When County Line Rd./CR900E/CR1000W curves and becomes CR885E and crosses the creek, walk west along the creek, then go a short distance up the first ravine on the north (right). From US50 at Nebraska, go north then west on CR550N, north on CR750E, and east on CR700N, which after many turns, becomes County Line Rd. From SR3, go east on CR800N,north on CR200E, east on CR850N, north on CR300E, east on CR900N, north on CR600E, east on CR920N, south on CR740E into Zenas, east on CR900/915N, north on the next road that becomes CR975N, and east on CR1000N."

I think a county map would be helpful!
