How can you request records of someone that was in the Joliet Prison in 1920? I have found someone that may be my grandfather, Arthur William Miller, listed in the Joliet Priosn Census record in 1920 and would like to get any information on him.

In regard to prison records, where would one search for records of personell at Joliet State Prison. My uncle, Clarence D. Atherton was employed there from about 1918 to 1958, when he died, according to family records.

just a guess
check with the Il state department of corrections and ask them since personel would be under that agency.
