John Guinn is listed in the 1860 mortatility schedule as having died in Jan 1860 at age 65, born in SC.
There are various family members in Lampasas at least through the 1880 census. Members of this family married Green, Anderson, Toland, and Proctor among others.
I would like to correspond with anyone descended from them.

Don't know if this is a connection or not, but my husband is descended from Alvin P Anderson (1846 - 1931)and Nannie Green (1852 - 1924)from Lampasas.

Oh, yes, that is a connection. Nannie Green was the daughter of M. Jane Gwin and Thomas Franklin Green. I found them listed on www.familysearch.org as marrying in Henry Co, GA Dec 12, 1850.
