as it is a slavic familyname i´m not of sure, if they always lived there. must to be find out at their "Meldeamt" (registry-office).can be that the
Jankovic came at time of WW2 or so (a guess by myself). best you send also a document which shows the relationship like a marriage-certificate of parents or maybe a copy of your passport or so....in Austria you get 100 years back only info if you related and if you can state this.
