My great grandfather's name was James(Bruce) Herschel Preston of Sparksville, Kentucky in Adaire County. His wife was Della Curry also of Sparksville. Her parents were Frank and Sarah Curry. I am looking for information on James Preston and his parents.

looking for birth and death dates for john preston possibly from va to ky. may have lived in jessamine co . and mercer co. the rough birth date i have for him is abt 1738. last known date of his whereabiouts was when his name and his,son, lewis's showed up on a deed in pulaski co abt 1804. i would like to know his wife's name also.

there are several willam prestons buried in Spring Hill cemetery in Harrodsburg Ky. One ,I believe, was married to a Mary, last name unknown. He was my great uncle.
