Surnames: FLYNN - LITTLE
My Canadian born gr grandparents JOSEPH FLYNN (b:1864) and his wife ANNIE LITTLE (b:1871) briefly resided in Buffalo between approximately 1889 and 1896 - they came to Buffalo from Toronto for unknown reasons. They may have married in Buffalo (Roman Catholic). Their first three children were born in Buffalo: Marie Theresa FLYNN (b:October 1890)- Joseph FLYNN (b: 1892) and Edward FLYNN (b:January 1894).

I am willing to pay for costs for the substantiated findings of this family in Buffalo.

Also please copy me directly at edgerton@charter.net when reponding to this thread - many thank you's!

I did not see a Joseph Flynn in either the NY marriage index for 1888, 1889 or 1890 OR in the male marriage index for 1887-1894. There was a Bernard Flynn, son of Bernard and Mary Giblin Flynn. That marriage took place in 1890. I also checked 1889 and 1890 for an Annie Little and the female marriages for 1887-1894 but there was only an Anna Little, daughter of Adam and Barbara Fi(s?)k Little who married C.H.Hartig in 1891. Since the 1890 birth records were in better order than some of the other birth records I looked through the month of October and did not find a child born to Flynn (did find 2 for my cousin though...thank you for that). Do you happen to have full birth dates for the children?

Hello

There is only one Joseph Flynn in the 1892 City Directory listed as "carpenter, candy, cigar" 528 (or 3?) Front Av. 1892 was the only directory I checked, so you could correlate it to the 1892 NYS census.

There were no other Flynn's listed at this address, but there was a Mrs Jennie Flynn at 43? Front Av. Front Av is in either the 19th, 20th or 22nd ward

Good Luck
