I'm looking for the final resting place of Benjamin Williams who is said to have died in Grant County in 1842. I'd like to know where exactly. He was married to Sally Battle. She died 1835 in Saline County. I would also like to know any info on their children.

I have tons of information on the family of B. Williams of Grant Co., Arkansas. Benjamin died some time after 1850, as he was listed on the census in 1850. His children were
Sarah Maria, who married Eli Lindsey, Nancy, who married a Mr. Davis, Clarissa Linnie, who married Stephen Tucker, Harriet, who married Burkett Lindsey, and Lott Green, who married Mary Jones. I am a descendant of Benjamin Williams of Grant County, Ar.
I have visited the Williams Cemetery at Tull, Arkansas, where Benjamin's family is buried. The cemetery is on private property owned by James Jolly. I have pictures of the cemetery and the plaque by the Daughters of the War of 1812, that was erected for Benjamin. Lott Green Williams, a son of Benjamin, has the only headstone. I started doing some research months ago and have gotten quite a bit, however, I have run into several walls and inconsistencies. In one of your messages you state that he had a daughter Sarah Marie, but I have found the following: Lott Green m Mary Jones, Mariah 'marie' m Eli Lindsey, Harriett m Burkett Lindsey, Clarissa Linnie m Stephen Tucher and Sarah m Archibald Tull. I am researching Lorenzo and Mahala Williams for a friend to make a Cherokee connection. I see that you posted this query a couple of years ago. I hope you are still at this email address. At this time I know only of a Lucy Williams and a Elizabeth Williams, both daughters of Lorenzo Williams and Mahala Sweet. I have them on census records in Texas in 1880. Only started a couple of days ago, so this is all I know so far. Lucy was born about 1840 and Elizabeth was born about 1852. Have you probed any further into this family?
