Looking for the Penninck family from Tielt, Belgium. My great grandmother Romania Penninck was born in Belgium somewhere around 1900, and Married August DeClerq. They moved to Canada and I am trying expand my family tree to my ancestors that remained in Belgium.

my grandfather was " teophiel penninck " lived in tielt, belgium (born in wygne, belgium???).
please let me know if this helps and maybe we can work out other details...my father was albert penninck, born and raised in tielt...

I think I found your grandmother in my family tree.
One of the sisters of my grandfather (Penninck Arthur) was called Romania Penninck and she immigrated with her sister Emma Penninck (probably) to the USA.
She was married to Auguste Declerck.
Maybe she died in 1965.
She probably has born in Wingene or Schuifferscapelle. Her more than 10 brothers and sisters where born over there.

I was in Elementary School with Lieven Penninck (born arr 1964) , from Kortrijk (Courtrai). I believe he had two brothers and a sister. His dad Was the Director of a Bank Branch in Kortrijk. I think his name was Raf.
I think Lieven is an executive at a belgian company now, but i have not had any contact with him since 1976.
