I have been trying for some time to find a connection between Walter and Lila. They were guests at the funerals of my Kammers. Care to correspond?

Lackawanna County has placed all of their public records on line. A link to the program which needs to be downloaded onto your computer is available at the county's website under Marriage Licenses. However if you wait a couple of weeks, they are planning a direct access to these records without having to download the program. [I have beta tested it.] It is expected to be available early to mid March.
Meanwhile, Lila A. Alles and Walter J. Kammer were married on Dec. 13, 1922 at Scranton by Rev. Peter Christ.
[ML # 2452, year 1922; recorded in Vol. 166 on page 454.]

Walter, age 37, was a truck driver, residing at 621 Maple St., had been widowed on May 11, 1921. His parents were Henry Kammer and Amelia Fries of Scranton. His father was a watchman and had been born at Pittston; his mother born at Scranton.
His parents marriage was not registered in Lackawanna County.

Lila, age 32, had been divorced Dec. 7, 1922. She resided at 613 Webster Ave. Her parents were Matthew and Josephine Myers [Alles], her father a blacksmith born in Germany, and her mother born in Scranton.
We can confirm that Mathias Alles, 22, and Josephine Meyers [Myers], 19, were married in Scranton as their marriage was recorded as ML # 5741, yr. 1889 and recorded in Vol. 14 on pg. 454, also by Rev. Peter Christ on Sept 26.

Under separate cover, I have sent you 9 marriage pdf files for KAMMER and ALLES family members. It is not a complete list of what is available. If you would like that list and do not want to download the LPA files, please do not hesitate to ask.

Richard, I have been trying to find a connect to Walter Kammer and Lila for some time. They signed a guestbook when my husbands grandfather passed away. Would you be so kind as to forward the marriage files? I believe that Henry Kammer and my William Kammer were brothers. Thank you. Donna
