There are 2 Josephines as wives in census, but don't appear to be matches. Also, the Homer, Lloyd, and Olive don't pan out. Only possible is following. See what you think:

1930 Federal Census US
2715 Ave M (?) Brooklyn, Kings County, NY, imm 1910, saleman Wholesale furniture
ROBINSON, Jeremiah, 33, marr 21 Russia, RUS RUS
Charlotte, 32, marr 20, NY RUS GER
Franklin, 11
George, 7

1920 Census has same info before George was born. Only diff is father gives birthplace as NY and Yiddish added to Russia. Maybe someone else has better idea? Good luck.

Robert,
Again thank you so much. I most intertested in the two Josephines. Josephine would be my direct ancestry. She's proofing to be a challenge for me. I haven't been able to locate her in any census records and have only found references to her in two articles, a property transfer as heir to family propery and her children being listed as heirs of a family cemetery plot in GreenWoodd cemetery. I appreciate your help.

Thank You,
Yvonne

Rechecked all the Josephine'ss indexed in NY state and I see none that could fiit the bill even remotely. The 2 Kings County ones: one b. 1909 (now I have a couple of VERY young mothers in my tree, but even that is pushing it if Franklin is son b. 1919!), Other one husband William with 3 m. old daughter Joan, new arrivals from Ireland it seems. Tried Homers (nil), Olive, 4 in state and numerous in country, but no daugfter fits bill, and same with Lloyd. Perhaps someone else will have better luck and see something I am missing. That is the good thing about this helping each other: that fresh eyes sometimes will spot something another overlooked or have a new suggestion. Sorry. Keep plugging away. I know myself that YEARS of searching have finally begun to pay off only recently.

Robert,
You have been very kind. I appreciate the fresh set of eyes. I agree with you, it does help once in a while to have a fresh set of eyes. Thank you so much.
