George Washington Tilley marriage cirt. says married to Fannie Thompson in 1910 Mingo county WV 1910 census has them in Mingo Co.says he was age 22.and that both his parents was from NC!
They had two children William born11-18-1913 (my grandfather) he says he was born in Williamson WV, but can not find any records. also sister Mayree born 3-25-1911, no records. no one knows what happend to George. Fannie went on to marry again in 1924 To Robert Kruckenburg, And that is who raised my grandfather.family bible of William Bernard states George had brothers John, Cleve and sister Mattie! And list John W Tilley as father to them! Any information on George or records would be greatly loved . Thank you Tammy Tilley

His age does not fit in with the marriage records; That record would reflect he was born in 1888. His WWI Draft Registration card indicates his birth as 2-22-1885. Nearest relative: Fannie Tilley.

Strangely enough there is another one with the same date of birth and nearest relative. MARY M. TILLEY. I think this one is actually a son of David and Mary (Fulk) Tilley of Stokes County, NC.
