William Sherman Mason is the oldest brother of my grandfather, Herbert B. Mason, who went to live with the Gudgel family after their mother died in 1884. Sherman followed the Gudgel family from Kansas to Colorado in order to stay close to his youngest brother. Is it possible to get a copy of the article quoted here? Thank you for these postings!
