Looking for information on a Patrick Tisdell & Kate Ryan-Tisdell who resided in Kingston between 1870 and at least 1900. Know of one child: Edward James Tisdell.
Pat & Kate emigrated from Ireland about 1870.
Edward married Ella Mae Wyant and left Kingston between 1905 and 1910. Had one child born in Kingston in 1905: Ella Rebecca Tisdell.
Patrick was a boiler maker, probably for the railroad. May have had a brother/cousin/son Christopher, a boiler importer.
Edward was a machinist when he resided in Kingston. He was born 1873.

My paternal grandfather is Edward James Tisdell, born 1876, in Kingston, Ulster County, New York State, United States. His wife is Ella Mae Wyant. His parents are Patrick Tisdell and Catherine Ryan. I would like to share information.

If you go to this site for the Ulster County, New York archives you will find Patrick and Catherine Tisdell listed in the 1905 census.
