On 1920 census, Elijah S. Atteberry and wife Marinda were enumerated in Kit Carson County, Township 6/7, Precinct 4. He was a grain farmer. Can someone tell me where that township and precinct is and if that location is near any town, either then or today?

The land description - the north 1/4 of Section 25, 6s 48w - and the dates of his land patent -
are at
glorecords.blm.gov
From that description, his homestead was a little south of the Yuma County line - about halfway between Kirk and Vona.

Sorry, Elijah. Marion Pickinpaugh also homestead in section 25. My grandfather Roy Camp homestead near them and later bought that section also. That is where I grew up.
