I am trying to find information on Aruna BRADFORD who married Mary DELAP and later had a son Moses. I have found that there were two Aruna Bradfords at this time that were second cousins and need to know who Moses' father and mother was to verify the ancestry line.

One Aruna Bradford was born to John and Bethia (BOND) Bradford and the other was born to John and Eliza (BOND). Both Aruna's were born in Canterbury, CT along with their wives, while Moses was born in Perington NY. They all later moved to Wayne Co. MI and eventually settled in the Kent Co/Montcalm Co MI area. I would appreciate any information anyone may have on these two families

Olive Bradford (b.july 13,17560 married Hezekiah Barstow at Canterbury,Ct on May 23,1776. This may have been her 2nd marriage and may have gone by the name, Olive Shepard. She was the daughter of William Bradford and Mary Cleveland also from Canerbury. William was the son of Lieut.James Bradford and Edith Adams also from Canterbury. James was the son of Capt. Thomas Bradford who was from Plymouth, Mass. and the Bradford lineage goes back to the first governor. Both these names are in our tree (many Bradfords (but from Plymouth) and if you have further information concerning Barstow, Robinson or Bradford I would appreciate hearing from you.

Bethany,

I know a lot about Moses Bradford, as I am a direct descendant of the Bradford Family who moved to Kent County Michigan. I am searching for Moses Bradford 1803-1896 son of Aruna Bradford 1781 and Mary Dunlap 1780-1861. Looks like we are searching for the same Moses Bradford of Canterbury, Conn in Windham County.

Ann,

Was wondering if you might be able to help me. My 5th gt.gr.father was Purnell/Jacob Bradford b. 1756-60 not quite sure of b.date. He married an Edith Robinson/Robertson and they had the following children: Priscilla,John, Jacob, Robinson,Isabell,Henry, Rosanna. Supposibly in Worcherster Co., MD. I have searched MD for Purnell/Jacob and can't find him until 1800. Your posting had the surnames Bradford and Robinson. Was wondering if there could be a connection somewhere. Have been searching for over 10 yrs on him with no new leads. Any help or tips would be sooo greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time Marcia Bradford Crabtree. Please email me at marciacrabtree@hotmail.com
