My grandfather was also a Bellerand for Carenage, Trinidad.
He was a well know in the area for playing pan.

I believe we contacted each other before. The Bellerands are quite a large and well known family and it will be good to have a family tree to see where everyone belongs on the tree. I grew up in Point Cumana and my father (Mannie Bellerand) also had mentioned he had family in Port of Spain ect. Clem Bellerand was his cousin and there were also Bellerands in Caranage. The name Bellerand came from Portugal and France but I am not able (yet) determine where did the Bellerands came from when they arrived in the Caribbean (Trinidad).
