HI Joyce,
Further information reveals that my Hazard was indeed born about 1798. The 1850 census says that he was born in Rhode Island. He is living in Jefferson County, New York in 1850. Has children Sarah, William and Lucy. Wife is Polly. Hazard can also be found in the 1830 census In Jefferson County, Clayton TWP.Other children born to this couple are; Edward and John and possilbly Mary J.
I have found his wifes burial record but not his. He remarried a Julia after his first wife, Polly, died. One son by the second marriage, Frederick. Haven't found marriage records yet for either marriage. Still hunting for parents names. Thank you for getting back, Becky
