Nathalie, thanks for your generous offer. I am looking for info John A. Lunn. He died in 1926 at the Soldier's Home in Nashville and his obit says he was buried in Dixon (probably Dickson), Tn. I would like to find the name of the cemetery where he is buried, possibly Union Cem??? John A. Lunn and wife Martha, children Sydney, Ora, Myrtle, John P are on the 1900 and 1910 DIckson Co, Tn federal census.

Hi, My name is Julie and I am looking for information on a Aaron Black. Aaron said he was born in Dickson Co. TN.1826 not sure of the month and day. I looked in the 1830 cencus and found a Josiah Black that could be his father. The cencus only lists the head of house. I need to find out if this Josiah is Aarons father. I have my Coleman line established back to the early 1800's in Dickson. But after 1860 the dissappear til 1881. I am looking for what happenned to William Scott Coleman's Estate between 1860 and 1870 I think that is about when he died. It was a fairly large estate and it seemingly just disappeared. I have spent countless hours at the L&A at Nashville but haven't found anything. I am hoping that there is a will I have missed or Tax records for this time maybe even a deed transfer. Just for reference his first wife's mname was ?? Richardson and they had Thomas Jefferson Richardson Coleman and an unknown daughter. His son Thomas J R Colemanmarried Priscilla Sugg and they had Thomas Jefferson Coleman (1860) Winfield Scott Coleman (1858)and John Morgan Coleman(1863). I can account for all of the years and records with the exception of those between 1861 and 1881.

I am trying to find out what happened to James A. Proctor who was in the 1850 Dickson CO, TN census. I find him listed with Joseph Proctor 28 and Martha 22. James is 1. I think this James A. may have married my great-great grandmother, Amanda Summers, in 1880, in Houston Co, TN. I can't find this family in 1860 yet but I think I found them in 1870 in Montgomery Co,TN. If you can help me with anything on this family, I'd really appreciate it!

John P. McFadden died January 7, 1917 in Dickson or White Bluff. He was father of Ester "Etta" McFadden Graham who was from Tidioute, PA according to her obit. I believe he was born in 1835 in Pennsylvania. Are you able to find anything about his ancestry?

Would you please look up Daniel Taylor? I have his marriage record to Mary Ann Gentry and his will. I need to know when he passed away... and possibly if you can, when and where was he born? I have his birth year as possibly 1805 in Tennessee.

They married in Dickson Co. TN on August 3, 1829. His will was dated on 4-28-1841... He had a son named Thomas. Thomas is my great great grandfather. Daniel is my GGGgrandfather.

Nathalie, if you are still doing look-ups would you please check for any record of death for Jane D. Madden. She was listed as age 79 on the 1900 Dickson Co census but missing in 1910 so she probably died between 1900 and 1910. She apparantly lived all her life in the Danielsville area. She had spinster daughters Zentipa S. and Lethra A. known as "Zannie" and "Annie" Madden. Daughters were elderly in 1930 so would have died probably in the 1930's. Information on her or her daughters deaths would be greatly appreciated.
