Baptisms of Veitch children at Berwick METHODIST CHAPEL, northumberland

(ON the 1841 census, people were told to round down their ages to the nearest 5 years, so people appeared younger than they actually were.)

Margaret born 3rd December 1811 and Baptized 15th December, 1811, daughter of Robert and Alison Veitch

James son of Robert and Alison Veitch of Castlegate Berwick, born there on 6th September 1813 and Baptized 17th October 1813 at the Meeting House, Golden Square, Berwick by Reverend McUre of Ayton.

Adam Sanderson Veitch son of Robert and Alison of Castlegate, Berwick, born 5th October 1815, and baptized 15th October, 1815.

Eleanor 2nd Daughter of Robert (a hind with George Cunningham) and Alison Veitch
Born 5th March 1818 and Baptized 19th April, 1818

Mary Sanderson Veitch, daughter of Robert and Alison Veitch born 31st October 1821 and baptized 25th November 1821

Alison, 6th child and 4th daughter of Robert and Alison Veitch of Castlegate, born 7th November 1823 and baptized 7th December 1823.

Could not find a marriage for Robet and Alison, but this would be at a different place, because in the early 1800, mariages would not be conducted in a Methodist Chapel. Will see what I can find when I next go to the Archives.
